Your boss has her tree up??? well then, it must mean if I were to put mine up, I would not be alone, LOL!!!!! I'm hoping to wait another week or so, but you know with my son, these holidays are going to be bittersweet this year for me, not sure where he might be next year:(

YES! I am finding trees up everywhere now! Our neighbor was out crawling on his roof, putting lights up! Something is very strange this year!
I'm glad you like your new job, only getting up at 4:30 am must be harsh! Last year I decided to leave my tree up all year, thinking before I know it, it'll be Christmas again (as time just flies by) but then, in February, I got tired of looking at it and it had to go...I like it better when I have to wait for it, because in a lot of cases anticipation is all part of the enjoyment.

Hi Penni, I can smell the lovely fruit and pomander and see the twinling lights.....although a bunch of mosquitoes are buzzing around me. The horrid muskies are immune to all the sprays and repellents.

Thank you so much for leaving the comment on my blog about live writer, you sure are smart about computers:) I'm sure the picaso is way beyond 500 for me, so that is one thing to look at. The MS bug fixes I don't have...I may have to wait for my son Chris to help but that will be when he has time. He works retail and is off Sunday but that's the Steeler football game sooooooo!

When I was younger my dad's whole family could only get together for Thanksgiving. Great Grandma insisted that we celebrate Christmas at the same time! So for many, many years we had "Chrisgiving", trees presents the whole thing! Since GG passed the rule is no trees unitl after Thanksgiving!
Love the basket. I played with my HTML stuff to try to add the fruit garland to separate the posts but...I have more to learn!

Ouch! Trees and lights up already? Decorations are up in stores and worst of all--Christmas music! I can't stand it. Halloween is the new preamble to the Christmas season. Where will it all end?

Goodness can we all just breath a sigh of relief that Halloween is done for this year. The anticipation for that one around her is almost worse than X-mas.
I must admit to ordering some new ornaments already.
Good news.... My husband says HE is going to deep fry the turkey this year. That means I am off the hook for the bird. :)

I think that people are starting Christmas early in hopes of banishing the doldrums of life right now. ME? The stress of the holidays is something that I rather put off for as long as I can. Besides, they sell trees really cheap on Christmas Eve! LOL
